CarbonBlue’s proprietary technology can remove pure CO2 from any water source, freeing the water up to absorb more CO2 from the atmosphere. Our closed-loop carbon dioxide removal (CDR) process leaves the water chemically unchanged, allowing for its return to the environment without any need for filtration or processing. The extracted CO2 is pure, food-grade, sequestration-agnostic material, meaning it can be sequestered using whatever method makes the most environmental sense for the specific facility’s geolocation and energy considerations.

The agility allowed by our low energetic requirements, low maintenance, and robust, closed-loop system – which requires no feedstock or logistics – coupled with our universal water compatibility, means that CarbonBlue CDR facilities can be constructed anywhere, off- or on-grid, offshore or on land, making deployment, upscaling, and co-location benefits extraordinarily accessible.
