CarbonBlue’s effluent water stream lowers the acidity of the seawater it mixes with. To ensure this is safe for marine ecosystems, CarbonBlue enlisted the help of the Israel Oceanographic and Limnological Research (IOLR) institute, to assess possible adverse effects on marine life.
In this report, IOLR share their findings following a series of tests conducted on CarbonBlue’s effluent water stream, as well as recommendations and insights.
