Low-Carbon
Lime Production
Fully Electrified, Intermittency-compatible

Thanks to its ambient operational temperatures, EcoLime systems can work intermittently and take maximum advantage of fluctuating power prices. This start-stop capability makes EcoLime fully compatible with intermittent renewable energy, enabling full electrification of industrial processes reliant on lime production.

Closing the Loop,
Unlocking Circularity

EcoLime enables the on-site production of lime from nearly any
calcium-bearing material, from low-grade limestone with elevated magnesium content and all the way to industrial waste such as steel slag and construction and demolition waste.

The high quality of EcoLime’s end product is unaffected by the quality of the feedstock, consistently delivering highly pure hydrated lime. This unlocks circularity and increases resource efficiency, as well as significantly reduces emissions, especially when using low-carbon feedstocks.

Tailored to Scale

EcoLime can leverage on-site waste and byproducts as feedstock, providing a dedicated supply of lime in a wide range of scales, including single-digit tonnages per day. Shortening supply chains, improving circularity, and simplifying waste disposal, EcoLime can drastically improve margins and lower feedstock prices and operational costs.

High Quality Lime

EcoLime’s hydrated lime boasts a very

high percentage of reactive material.

Tested and validated in water treatment, construction materials and other industries, EcoLime is free of residues, unreactive burned lime, and has very low amounts of metal contaminants. EcoLime’s whiteness index is extremely high, and the material is ready to be used in the most exacting applications and industries.

Zero Pollutants,
Low Carbon Footprint

In comparison to current production methods, EcoLime’s reduced emissions and pollutants, as well as its independence from fossil fuel combustion, greatly simplify permitting and interfaces with environmental protection agencies and other regulatory bodies. EcoLime thereby allows producers and consumers to proactively meet developing regulations and changing environmental and market demands.
